Will I receive a charitable tax receipt for my donation?

Gifts to a crowdfunding project will be receipted by Western University through its charitable status and according to guidelines established by the Canadian Revenue Agency.

What happens if the project I'm supporting does not reach its fundraising goal?

All money raised for a crowdfunding project will be forwarded to the designated fund of each individual campaign -- whether or not the project achieves its target.

Are there processing fees?

No fees are applied to any gift. Projects receive 100 per cent of the money raised.
